Dhaka – Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Monday morning inaugurated the Chancery Complex of the Indian High Commission in Dhaka, reports UNB.
She also inaugurated 15 development projects in Bangladesh funded by the government of India. The cost of the projects is around 71.64 crore.
Prime Minister’s Political Affairs Adviser HT Imam and Indian High Commissioner in Dhaka Harsh Vardhan Shringla, Health Minister Mohammed Nasim, and Foreign Secretary M Shahidul Haque were also present on the occasion.
The Indian Minister is in Dhaka in less than 24 hours official visit.
She held 4th Joint Consultative Commission meeting on Sunday with her Bangladesh counterpart AH Mahmood Ali and reviewed the entire bilateral relationship between the two friendly neighbouring countries.
The Indian Minister is scheduled to leave Dhaka before 2:00 pm on Monday.
