Shahriar for strengthening bilateral relations with Nepal

DHAKA : State Minister for Foreign Affairs M Shahriar Alam today expressed the hope that the existing bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Nepal would be further strengthened in the coming days, reports BSS.
He made the remark while newly appointed Nepalese Ambassador to Bangladesh Dr. Chop Lal Bhushal called on him at his office in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a press release said here.
Welcoming the Ambassador, the state minister assured the new envoy of extending all possible cooperation in discharging his duties.
During the meeting, they also discussed about various aspects of bilateral relations including trade and investment, connectivity, power sector cooperation and people-to-people contact.
The new ambassador hoped that the two neighbouring countries would be able to harness the existing synergies to take the bilateral relations to the next level.
