Mountaineer Musa gets trapped on Papua New Guinea mountain

DHAKA : Mount Everest conqueror Musa Ibrahim has remained stuck at an inaccessible mountain range in Papua New Guinea for four days due to inclement weather, reports UNB.
According to the Facebook status of State Minister for Foreign Affairs Mohammed Shahriar Alam, Musa along with an Indian mountaineer has remained stranded there for four days.
“They have food. Meanwhile, Bangladesh Embassy in Indonesia has arranged a helicopter to rescue the Bangladeshi mountaineer. The helicopter will start for the mountain once the weather condition improves,” Shahriar added.
The State Minister urged everyone to pray for Musa and other mountaineers who have got stuck there, adding Asean authorities and Indian Embassy in Indonesia have been working with the Bangladeshi ones to carry out the rescue operation.
