Swiatek, oldest ex-France international, dies at 95

BORDEAUX : Jean Swiatek, the oldest surviving France international, has died at the age of 95, his former club Bordeaux said on Wednesday, reports BSS.
Born in Poland in 1921 Swiatek arrived in France aged four and went on to spend all his playing career as a defender with Bordeaux.
Promoted the previous season, he captained Bordeaux to the French first-division title in 1950.
The doyen of the France team, he earned five international caps from 1944 to 1950.
