Khaleda will not show up in court: counsel

khaleda_41 (763 x 430)DHAKA : BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia will not appear before the special court today to face the Zia Charitable Trust graft case hearing as she is not fit to stand the trial, her lawyer said, reports BSS.
“She is not fully fit and taking rest. So she will not going to appear before the court tomorrow,” said Advocate Sanaullah Miah.
The hearing of the case is going at the Special Judge Court-3 situated on the premises of Dhaka Aliah Madrasa.
Earlier on November 19, the court recorded depositions of three more prosecution witnesses Dutch-Bangla Bank official Kamruzzaman and Anti-Corruption Commission constables Manjurul Haque and Sirajul Haque. On August 8, 2011, ACC Deputy Director Harunur Rashid lodged the Zia Charitable Trust graft case against Khaleda and three others with Tejgaon Police Station on charges of embezzling Taka 31.5 million from the trust.
