BAF replaces contingent in DR Congo

DHAKA : Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) is on the verge of replacing its contingent at United Nations Peacekeeping Mission in Democratic Republic of Congo (MONUSCO).
A total of 358 BAF contingent members of Bangladesh Air Force, which includes nine female officers, are being replaced this time. Air Commodore Muhammad Mortuza Kamal is the Contingent Commander, an ISPR press release said yesterday, reports BSS.
Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Abu Esrar briefed the members of contingent at Bangladesh Air Force Base Bashar, Tejgaon.
Addressing on the occasion, Chief of Air Staff advised them to discharge their duties with honesty, professionalism and sincerity and bring honour for Bangladesh Air Force as well as for the country. Later, he participated in a special munajat arranged for success of the contingent. Among others, Principal Staff Officers, Air Officers of Dhaka area and senior BAF officers of Air Headquarters and Bases were present in the session.
