The Education Minister issued the warning while talking to reporters after an inter-ministerial meeting on the preparation of the SSC examination scheduled to begin on February 2.

The minister said the government has taken strict measures to prevent any attempt of leakage of question papers.

He said the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) will take necessary steps to stop the leakage of question papers through the social media sites, including facebook, he said.

“Those on the list of suspects involved in question paper leakage will be brought under strict surveillance. Besides, the father, mother, sister, brother and friends of the suspects will be kept under observation,” said the minister.

He said this year the authorities concerned will keep vigil on BG Press to prevent any attempt of question paper leakage and the ministry will also monitor the activities in BG Press.

Besides, a control room will be set up at the Ministry for holding the SSC and its equivalent exams in a peaceful environment. An official of deputy secretary rank will act as in-charge of the control room.
