Cambodian PM in Dhaka

PM==hoto10022 (563 x 430)Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen on Monday morning has reached in Bangladesh on a three-day official visit. Hun Sen is leading a delegation comprising his Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts, and other members of the Royal government of Cambodia.
The Cambodian premier comes to Dhaka at the invitation of his Bangladesh counterpart Sheikh Hasina who visited Cambodia in 2001. This is the highest-level visit from Cambodia to Bangladesh.
A special aircraft of the Kingdom of Cambodia carrying the Cambodian Prime Minister and members of his entourage landed at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport here at 9:50 am.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina received Hun Sen at the VVIP Terminal of the airport, while a tiny tot presented a bouquet to him.
A smartly turned out contingent drawn from the three services presented a guard of honour and state salute to Prime Minister Hun Sen.
Accompanied by Sheikh Hasina, the Cambodian Prime Minister inspected the guard and took the salute. National anthems of the two countries were played on the occasion.
Deputy Leader of Parliament Syeda Sajeda Chowdhury, Finance Minister AMA Muhith, Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu, Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed, Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor and State Minister for Foreign Affairs M Shahriar Alam were present at the airport to welcome the Cambodian Prime Minister.
Besides, Cabinet Secretary M Musharraf Hossain Bhuiyan, PM’s Principal Secretary Abdus Sobhan Sikdar, chiefs of the three services, inspector general of police, dean of the diplomatic corps, and high civil and military officials were also present.
